There are those with a leadership title and then there are those that actually lead. There is a huge difference between the two. Those that lead don’t need a title. They are not driven by having a long line-up of people kissing their butts that are ‘under’ them on an organizational chart. They have a higher purpose and are driven by the need to serve.
I love being around people that lead. They are a very special breed of person and incredibly rare. They have what I call a ‘shelf-life,’ meaning that they always land critical roles in cool companies despite uncertain market conditions and chaos.
