Life is pretty busy, and at times hectic. With insane workloads and fast deadlines, if we’re not paying close attention, we can easily miss a deadline or a commitment. However, as a leader one of the most important priorities must be accountability.

Get your excuses out of the way right now. After all they are just excuses. If you want to join the ranks of the very best in the world, you have to be persistent, disciplined, and focused. You have to build a brand that is known for delivering on what you say you are going to do.
Know what you are better at than your competition (all those people inside the organization and out that want to eat your lunch). Deliver on it flawlessly with all your energy and drive. When you deliver on a consistent basis, you will develop a brand of reliability. When then happens is you will get higher levels of responsibility, your stock will rise faster than you can imagine, and you will gain an unparalleled level of respect and appreciation.
Is it hard? Yes, absolutely! But then again… everything in life that is worthwhile is hard and takes hard work.
